Students with significant health issues continue to be a growing concern for school districts. The School Nurse Corps Program provides consultation for district administrators, school nurses and district staff. Direct school nurse services in school districts are also available.

Too many missed school days from asthma? The STEPS School Coordinator can offer resources, curriculum, and training for staff to improve attendance and lessen the burden of asthma.

Once called Adult Onset Diabetes, Type 2 Diabetes is now increasingly affecting our youth. The STEPS School Coordinator can offer resources & education for staff, students, and community to battle this chronic disease.

Obesity is a national epidemic and children are not exempt. Not only is health at stake, but poor self-esteem and readiness to learn are impacted. The STEPS School Coordinator can offer curriculum, resources and education for staff, students, and community. Assistance can be provided to evaluate existing programs and facilitate improvements.

Tobacco use among our youth is on the decline. Keep the momentum going! The STEPS to a Healthier US Grant provides training for school staff in using best practice curriculum.
